It is a minimally invasive procedure that causes no pain and gives the tissues a mild trauma without peeling, unlike a peel or a laser. It can be made on the face or body on all skin types and colors and at any time of the year. The main indications are fine wrinkles, pigmentary changes, stabilized acne, solar elastosis, scars (such as those caused by acne) but also sagging, stretch marks and cellulite.

How it works?

The main action of microneedling is to enable certain substances applied to the skin surface to pass through the superficial layers of the epidermis to reach the place where its action should be exerted.

On the other hand, the numerous micro-punctures microscopically break some of the blood vessels below the skin surface and when the blood coagulates, the proper environment for the formation of new collagen and elastin is created with numerous tissue benefits.

In situations where microneedling has to be done more intensely to achieve greater depth, the skin may become quite flushed and typically resolve within 24 to 48 hours.
